This satirical and humorous cartoon strip featuring two characters: Harry (short for Harriet), a quirky and sweet senior citizen with a disposition reminiscent of Rose Nylund from The Golden Girls, and Spike, her mangy, sarcastic male cat who sees himself as a saber-toothed tiger and channels the wit of Jerry Seinfeld, Don Rickles, and Hugh Laurie’s character from House. Spike’s sarcasm is biting, narcissistic, and stand-up-influenced, but beneath his gruff exterior, he is fiercely protective of Harry.
